James “Watty” Watson serves on the Advisory Board of Valley Industrial Partners, bringing over 45 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, development, and management. Mr. Watson provides guidance on platform operations, development, acquisitions, and national logistics strategy, with a focus on strategic growth and new market expansion.

Mr. Watson currently serves as the Managing Partner for CT Realty, where he oversees firmwide direction and serves as the primary liaison for both institutional and private investors. He is an active member of CTR’s Executive and Investment Committees.

Prior to CTR Partners, Mr. Watson was President of Koll Development Company, where he directed investment and development activity across the Western U.S. and Mexico. Under his leadership, Koll developed or acquired more than 75 million square feet of institutional-quality industrial, office, and retail space.

Mr. Watson earned a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He is based in Dallas, Texas, and remains actively involved in industry and philanthropic initiatives, including service on the national board of NAIOP and various advisory boards.
